I have a question… or more like an observation I’d like to share.
See, Sam spent how long in Hell being tortured every which way Lucifer himself could come up with for… how long… and when he’s topside, working on a case… and fucking clowns still bother him? I mean, I get it. Clowns are scary. I don’t exactly love ‘em either, but Sam was tortured in Hell. Clowns should be a piece of fuckin’ cake, right?
but didn’t they put up that wall in his head when he got his soul back so he wouldn’t remember that shit because it would make him bat shit fucking crazy? idk. i’ve only been keeping up with this show through tumblr so you know i’m sketchy with facts.
Nope, Castiel tore it down in the season 6 finale to get Dean to comply with his plan. I’m still angry about that. But, no, Sam knows everything that happened down in Hell and he’s even got Lucifer talking to him in hallucinations that he can’t get rid of. Sam’s… Sam’s cracked, now, dealing with a bunch of crap that it’s very unrealistic to believe that a few of dudes in full make-up and squirting flowers are terrifying. Granted, the clowns they’ve had in past episodes are of the Supernatural variety and not technically clowns, but still. It’s not like it’s anything he hasn’t dealt with before since he was prepubescent. I dunno, it just didn’t jive with me in the last episode with the clowns that he’d be that stressed about having to deal with clowns given his stint in Hell.
Maybe they tortured Sam with clowns in the pit? *shrugs*
