Sam had it worse, he’s gasping for air and clutching on his own jacket. He was trying to say something but he couldn’t because of all the blood that’s flooding his throat. Dean just lies there and tries to understand what he’s saying, “Sammy, what is it? Sammy!”

Sam managed to take out something from his breast pocket and was about to give it to Dean. Trying so hard to keep eye contact. Struggling to stay with Dean. But he didn’t make it.

Dean crawls to his brother, forgetting his own pain, “Sam! Sammy! Nononono! Sam! No!” Then he opened his dead brother’s palm and saw the amulet.
